Collaborative Response in times of Crisis: Safeguarding SDG Investments during the COVID-19 Pandemic
---

Series of Informal Private Virtual Roundtables hosted by the Pipeline Builder Project, facilitated by the SDG Lab at UN Geneva and Geneva 2030 Ecosystem.
MFIs and DFIs are making a concerted effort to bring public finance solutions to the acute COVID-19 crisis. Swiss private financial industry players investing with an SDG lens, and their international partners, have the track record and ability to deploy considerable assets through their well-established channels on the ground in emerging and least developed economies and are eager to engage in this time of crisis.

Since April 8, the Pipeline Builder is hosting a series of informal private virtual roundtables to share solutions and fast-track those already in existence/development. We work through how public and private finance communities can collaboratively expand and accelerate the range of delivery mechanisms available for reaching critical development sectors impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

Who Participates
Private financial industry players active in impact, sustainable finance and SDG finance including but not limited to asset managers, advisors and investors, along with Multilateral Finance Institutions (MFIs), Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) and other public finance actors.
The SDG lab at the UN Geneva is hosting these private, by-invitation-only meeting as a connector between different SDG stakeholders to accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. Incubated by the SDG Lab, the Pipeline Builder pilot project was established in early 2020 to address the need for a more connected and systematized SDG investment market.
